Blog: Heartbreak

It can be a life-changing experience. It’s a process of self-examination and can direct to growth and provide opportunities for the overall good. It is difficult to be on the receiving end of it. We get to know the real world and everything becomes crystal clear to reflect and move forward. A lot goes in bouncing back. Resilience and willpower are the keys to turn one’s life around. It takes away our peace, strength, happiness and control that used to be hallmarks of a personality. A determined mindset can help us walk through it with ease.

It somehow makes one realise that nothing is more important than yourself. It paves a way to focus completely on oneself. Psychologically heartbreaks benefit majorly. Initially hurt, anger, depression, anxiety, self-pity, sadness and a dejected feeling cloud every positive thought. Gradually as time passes accepting the situation the way it is becomes easier. A sense of denial that grips transforms into adapting the new status with less hassle.

Important lessons can be learnt from a broken heart. New questions forge on their own when a situation, relationship, setup or a bond ends. There is a surge in self awareness. When one manages to get past it and return stronger then productivity and creativity happen. Fresh ideas come knocking at the door. Everything seems possible. A new verve surrounds us and we wish to give it all to bring desired results and changes. Feeling insecure no longer addles us.

Our brain takes time to come to terms with a heartbreak. Earlier all our energies are focused on the objects of our desires and love but everything remodels when heartache occurs. Somewhere down the line it has a healing power too. Opinions, emotions and zeal undergo a massive spin. When we overcome hurdles we feel a sense of achievement. When we realise our worth we don’t give in to manipulation and deceit. Something beautiful may have been waiting patiently that comes face to face once heartbreak sets in.

We become independent because of it. Somehow it toughens us up. The cautious side of ours guides us. One does lose faith in love, trust issues happen and innocence is not the same. We learn to protect ourselves from selfish equations. We concentrate more on work and things that give us happiness and comfort. We consciously stay alert to save ourselves from further damage emotionally. Self-improvement becomes a key thing. The heart is used less and the mind takes charge. Heartbreak can turn out to be a lifesaver too.
