Blog: Roadblocks
The road to progress gets affected by them. Barriers of any kind upset planning and strategies. Financial roadblocks play with our overall peace of mind. When humans don’t stick to their budget it can create chaos. One has to follow its direction to reach set goals. Desires and greed make people deviate from their financial plan. Not having a budget does not aid in identifying how much one is spending. A budget streamlines expenses and sticking to it helps a great deal. Debts if not paid on time add to the financial agony. We can avoid roadblocks when we think long term. Setting the wrong goals influence resources and then all hell breaks loose.
Emotional hurdles sabotage development and personality. Cultural differences don’t allow people to see eye to eye. Unknown and foreign languages can limit interaction. Accents which are not understandable can turn out to be invisible fences. Pride and anger can prevent one from expressing themselves fully. Fights distance people from one another. Years of no communication may kill bonds and ties. Information overload may lead to anxiety, stress, and trauma. Online data may cause mental fatigue. At the workplace or home when there is a lack of focus then it transforms into an emotional stumbling block.
Death of a loved one takes time to heal and bounce back. Uncertainties throw life out of gear. Natural calamities do just that. It all becomes very catastrophic then. Hurricanes, earthquakes and heavy downpours wreck day to day life. They disrupt normal routines if a backup is not in place. Travelling takes a hit. This may delay important corporate and personal meetings. Technical snags in electronic equipment as well as modes of transport push scheduled meetups in the bin. When one is without alternatives and substitutes to meet targets a lot is lost. This way one can face an emotional breakdown and the grip on things just slips.
Health is wealth. Unhealthy beings fall into depression. Their lives become socially inactive. Isolating from loved ones becomes the norm. Nothing positive comes to mind. Negative thoughts negate productive thoughts. It can turn out to be the biggest blockade in achieving whatever they must have aspired for initially. Regular visits to doctors, clinics, hospitals and care centres can dull their routines. If the approach is not right then they might feel trapped in this cycle. To fight illness one needs positivity and courage. When once both are hit then there might not be any turning back. Health should be taken care of in all respects to move forward in life.
Failures can be blessings in disguise. One panics, stresses and freaks out. They may have proven to be a detour from the original plan that could have ended in disasters. When we take them as a stepping stone to success then everything makes sense. Doubts and questions take a backseat and we surge ahead with confidence, determination and a new verve. The approach is a tad better than previous attempts. Roadblocks in the form of failures help us see within and actualise our real potential. These pauses can be essential to breathe in and give our best shot ever. Closed doors and missed opportunities protect us from things that are not supposed to be meant for us. They test our patience no doubt but it’s all worth it for the overall good.
