Blog: Worrying

It pushes people to think ahead. It can trigger fruitful results if done within limits. Sanity is not hit if the outcome is productive. Dangers can be nipped in the bud as it alerts the mind to take necessary action. Identifying worrisome situations aids in completely eradicating them.  Whenever plan A does not work one can incorporate plan B to get things going. Likewise if plan B too backfires then a different approach can be applied to bring breakthroughs and solutions.

To worry is to bring setbacks to one’s health if not checked. Sleep is disturbed, peace goes for a toss and anxiety whips judgements and positivity. Negative vibes surface. Relationships and friendships face the music unnecessarily. Scrutiny comes into play. Everything is doubted and that also includes one’s potential to do better in life or overall. Worrying can eat a person from within if not shared. Keeping it all in can lead to an eruption of an emotional volcano.

Worries can wreck lives. It’s always good to confide in someone when it gets too much on the platter. Weird thoughts cloud our minds. Life is a question with no answers. Sometimes people create a wall and don’t allow anyone to break it. This wall doubles extremities. Insomnia can set in. Stress multiplies. Anxiety attacks are very common. Everything generates paranoia. Any positive idea too seems risky. Eating disorders arise.

Healthy worrying improves focus and performance is far better. Exams are prepared well and occupational presentations get their due attention and creativity. Brooding for too long slows down the pace. Delays are inevitable then. Stagnation may happen when anxious spells are often. It negates the prospects of achieving one’s goals. Determination, discipline, perseverance and mental alertness bring clarity. Here good planning omits chaos.

Medical bills may inflate because of excess worrying. Hospital visits increase too. Energy levels are low whenever we get worked up. It not only wastes time but depression adds to the issues. Indecision is frequent. Avoiding things becomes the new norm. Concentration is bad and decision making gives nightmares. A little amount of worry helps one to cope in a progressive way. Motivation plays a very important role here. Too much of it leads to restlessness, muscle tension and headaches. Worrying spells act as an alarm indeed but overdoing spoils the fun.
