English Poetry: Footsteps

a footsteps on the sand

Familiar ones make hearts race
some are so shrill
some are full of grace
they are worth a kill.

Corridors echo their song
silence makes an exit
people tag along
oh! then milieu gets lit.

They alert
even linger
they divert
even trigger.

So hard Earth weeps
so soft they charm
some hit you so deep
they help you unarm.

Beacons of hope
fear generators
they bring dope
they are communicators.

A triumph on life
they are mood changers
footsteps can bring strife
but they can be game-changers.
