Negativity too makes its presence felt. Meetings, making reports, same schedules, lifestyle, habits and tasks with nothing new to do takes a toll and then detachment becomes the flavour.

Managing boredom aids in original thinking. It develops independence and self esteem to a larger extent. Out of the box thoughts make an entry and then we benefit for the greater good. It paves way for trial and error. Embracing boring spells is an art too. How we inculcate ways to break the distasteful vibe requires effort as well as intelligence. The process of coming out of such phases can be depressing too. The key is to fall in love with the catharsis rather than running away or avoiding it. Facing it head on is the first step to self-reliance. It helps us to slow down.

Problem-solving skills get a boost. Structured lives get a new dimension from time to time when we are highly bored. It provides motivation for change. Discovering a better path is a given then. To avoid it our brain instructs us to come out of it sooner the better. It is for the overall mental health and well being. When we are constantly stuck in experiences that give no pleasure or happiness then it leads to a meaningless existence. Bringing novelty in our lives can lead to both positive and negative impacts.

To kill negative thoughts that it generates distraction is a must. We tend to pick up hobbies that may save us from it. Boredom can be destructive too. Innovation goes for a toss when dark thoughts cloud our minds. It can become a huge problem then so its all the more important to get rid of it. Insight triggers ways to show light from dark tunnels of dullness. Boredom leads to creativity and inner connections to self and the outer world. Stagnation and feeling of uselessness should not hinder progress as boredom brings with it in bulk.
